Awesome, I use this on concrete almost everyday so far no problemos.

Great speed rope for those who use a jump rope on their driveway or concrete. Not quite as fast a more traditional vinyl coated cable rope but much more durable. I am giving it five stars for the durability aspect. The rope may not be quite as fast, but durable and does not kink. A great training and fitness rope without quite the sting of a cable rope when missing.

It works, you can jump. The toggle that helps me adjust rope broke on one side the day I got the product, but I fixed that by tying the cord into a knot. Annoying but not worth the UPS hassle of returns. In retrospect, should've just shelled out more cash for a better rope.

I jump rope a few times a week for some pretty hardcore, sweat inducing, dry heaving sessions that last around 30 minutes. In that 30 minutes, I jump over this stupid little plastic rope several thousand times. Since I usually do it on concrete (I've got knees of steal all you haters), I can't use a cable rope. I'll tear through a cable rope and start fraying the cables within 2 sessions, so I need a different alternative.
I've tried a few other plastic ropes in the past, and they were just too light to feel the rope. I couldn't tell where it is while I'm jumping, and even though it doesn't change too much, it throws me off just enough to where I can't impress the ladies quite as much. Since I'm ridiculously self-centered show-off, I put a lot of planning into my jump roping sessions by setting up a playlist with the right tempo, a tightly draped tank top to show off my Herculean shoulders, and a jump rope with the right feel...oh, and don't forget the personal misting fan for my cooldown session.
Anyways, most plastic jump ropes can't hold a candle compared to a cable rope in terms of weight and feel. This rope holds a wimpy, scrawny little candle, but at least there's a flame. If you don't have access to jumping on wood or matt floors and are afraid of wearing through a cable rope too quickly, this is a very good alternative - especially for the price.

This is a great rope if you are looking for a higher gear in your rope training. The rope is heavier than their standard rope so it definitely requires more energy per min to turn. The handles turn smooth and allow for continuous double unders. The only bad thing is that the handles are slippery (and a little skinny). This was easily fixed with some tennis racket handle tape. Now it is my go to rope for intense speed rope work and double unders.
The elite pro freestyle rope is perfect for standard roping including all of your fancy footwork and criss cross moves. The boxer training rope doesn't quite work for that type of jumping.
